WB Bill Gardner is in the Thomaston Hospital tonight with chest pains. He
is undergoing some test and is expected to be transfered to Macon tomorrow
or Friday to see how much blockage is in his heart. Please keep WB Bill and
his wife, Bonnie, in your prayers.

Dear Brethren, Tuesday April 27 2010

I am pleased to report that although we were rained out on Saturday, we did
manage to identify 105 kids on Sunday for the Ga Chip event at this
year's Mayfling held at the City of Griffin Park this past weekend. I would like
to thank those brothers that helped all day. A special thanks to our
sister lodge in Hampton, and for Brian Clanton's Police Explores (teens) for
coming and lending a much need hand. Could not have done it with out all the
help. The event was well planned and organized, and a fun time was had by
all who were there.

Hampton Lodge has a GACHIP Event planned for May 22nd and we will need all
hands on deck. The event will take place at the GBI Headquarters, in
Decatur.

The event will only be one day, from 9 till 4, and we planning on a large
group of children to be present. It is the state's 'Missing Childrens Day'.

Worshipful Brother Aubrey Spruill, Past Master of Griffin

Lodge 413 here in Griffin. WB Aubrey was a dedicated family

man and Mason and he will be sorely missed by all,

I am going to visit Jonesboro lodge this Tuesday. I was asked to make something for the Worshipful Master and I would like to present it to WM John. I believe they have a Traveling Gavel and the Traveling Hat. Is anyone interested in going with me? I think there lodge eats at 6:30 and meets at 7:30

A Christmas Thought from our Master

This month, I learned that Advent is a time of gratitude. The thought wasn’t mine, but it seems so very right as I think about it. We began this season with Thanksgiving, and we continue on to that special day that celebrates the birth of the baby in Bethlehem-The Prince of Peace for all people. So, it is indeed a wonderful time of the year! Jenny and I want you all to know how grateful we are for having known you, for having you in our lives throughout the years. I can assure you that your friendship, love, and support have added immeasurably to our lives.

Christmas is the celebration of the Birth of Christ. His birth gives hope to the world. His life, death, and resurrection gave hope and meaning to our lives. As we look at the Christmas holidays, we need to make sure we don’t just give and receive gifts but we really look at our relationships and friends in a real sense

We hope and pray that all is well with you and your loved ones. If there are joys and happiness, we will rejoice with you. If there are problems, we will keep you in our prayers. And, if you mourn, we will mourn with you. You are all very special to us.

We would like to wish you, from the bottom of our hearts a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. May the holidays bring you closer to your friends and family, and bring you happiness and joy.
